It was an absolute dream to be able to take class with Sarah. She’s a huge inspo to me especially when I first started dancing and a big reason why I’m so transparent with my dance journey, post comparison/progress vids, etc.

Taught this during my birthday last year~ Wanted to revisit the first choreo I made from summer 2023. A couple goals I had I original made this were to have at least half of the piece be standing (the floor is my comfort zone), and explore movements outside of familiar heels moves. I actually ended up keeping a lot of the original elements and tweaked maybe about a third of it?
Will probably keep playing with it and maybe eventually expand it into a full piece.
Also, I may or may not have edited this when my cold medicine kicked in. Went a little too hard on the key frames. Sorry if this gives you vertigo. 😂🙈

Sick in bed and feeling fomo from not being able to dance. So catching up on posting old class vids (and clearing up space on my phone) again!
I haven’t been able to go to Late Night recently — was recovering from an injury, Monday’s have become one of my rest days, and the earlier start time at work has been kicking my butt. 🥲 Hoping to be back once performance season winds up and my schedule calms down a bit!

Second time learning the piece and it was still a doozy. I think my focus for this class was trying to get to the picture faster and holding it for longer. It’s definitely one of my own going goals since I tend to flow through movements. 🙈
