Some bad art advice: Rule #1 – Don’t Make a Mess.
Keep it clean. Stick to controlled environments, tidy workspaces, and predictable outcomes. Chaos leads to mistakes, and mistakes make you look unprofessional.
TY to everyone who watched the special around the 🌎. Shout out to my baby boy director, Rookie of The Year @babin , and knockoff Mickey and Lady Liberty.
Another new chapter begins. Tomorrow, Hasan Minhaj: Off With His Head, my directorial debut, is available on Netflix.
@hasanminhaj and @prashanthvenkat trusted me to help bring this vision to life, and seeing it all come together like this feels surreal. I’m proud of the work we did, and grateful for everyone who had a hand in making it happen.
Excited for what’s next, but for now, I’ll just try to enjoy this moment... and maybe get some sun. 📸 @amirbangs
It’s finally time to come out of hiding. I’ve been in the weeds for months on this project and tomorrow “The King’s Jester” goes live on Netflix.
Thanks so much to @hasanminhaj and @prashanthvenkat and so so many others for allowing me so much access and ownership throughout this process. It’ll be my first Producer credit on a Netflix project and it’s a special one. It’s been a sprint and marathon all in one and I’m just incredibly grateful.
Sorry @feliciathegoat but @jimmyfallon said I could be Tyler The Creator moving forward. No hard feelings ❤️
Peep this full video over on @hasanminhaj YouTube channel, one of my favorite vids to date 🙏🏼
Embrace the happy accidents.
Everything about this photo went “wrong” in the moment, shutter was too slow, flash didn’t fire I was trailing behind HM as he walked on stage. I don’t even bother looking at the frame till the next day cause I thought there was no chance it looked like anything useable. Yet to my surprise it works, and has an iconic feeling to it.
