Carrie brings more than 30 years of experience leading complex healthcare and higher education projects, while Tom adds 14 years of expertise in estimating and preconstruction, with a specialty in historic restoration. Together, their knowledge strengthens the team’s ability to position projects for success from the start.

The hills came alive Thursday night in New Haven!
Back at the historic @shubertnewhaven —where The Sound of Music had its world premiere in 1959—we celebrated opening night with clients and industry partners in the Elm City’s Cabaret, a space proudly built by Babbidge.

🎉Project Spotlight - Collage at 101 College Street🎉
We’re excited to share the completion of Collage, a cafe located on the first level of 101 College Street in New Haven. Winstanley Enterprises retained Babbidge to complete the interior fit-out of the new amenity space in this landmark life sciences building. The cafe offers food service and a coffee bar area which serves building tenants and guests. Featuring grab-and-go options and local guest restaurants on rotation, the community-centered cafe provides lots of culinary options and beverages for everyone.

We’re proud to share the completion of the clubhouse and pool renovation at @hartfordgolfclub1896 . The phased two-year renovation modernized and refreshed the club’s interior dining and bar spaces, including back of house improvements. On the exterior, the outdoor patio was expanded, connecting to a new golf simulator room and cart and bag storage. In the pool area, multiple pools were replaced with a zero-entry pool with lap swim area. It was a pleasure to collaborate with the building committee and @jbd_jga and the construction team to deliver a successful project!

At Babbidge, we encourage our team to volunteer with organizations they are passionate about to leave a lasting impact on the community. Last week, Chris Malerba and Melissa Saint volunteered at the Northern Junior Championship @newhavencountryclub in Hamden.
This tournament unites the best young golfers in the country while raising money for Toys for Tots. The tournament began in honor of Stanley Trojanowski, a US Marine who valued acts of service.
We thank Chris and Melissa for devoting their time to this charitable cause!

We are excited to welcome three new hires to the Babbidge team: Kenneth Bergmann, David Bornstein, and Alexa Malerba.
Kenneth is an Assistant Superintendent, where he will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure that all projects run smoothly. David is a Superintendent, and he will be responsible for managing subcontractors while enforcing safety protocols. Alexa is the Marketing Intern who assists with social media management.

It's #FlashbackFriday and we're highlighting one of our previous projects!
The Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale has been a place for the university's Jewish community to gather since 1995. The center features areas to eat, study, and gather together while engaging with Jewish values and traditions.
Babbidge has contributed to the center's revitalization by renovating the interior kitchen and dining area. In conjunction with Landow & Landow Architects, we worked diligently to complete these renovations just in time for Yale's 2023 commencement.
