We had a powerful gathering of 2Spirit community yesterday at the 2Spririt Powwow! We feel so grateful and honored to sing in community and honor our 2Spirit ancestors who guide our song and our medicine that we are able to share with so many. May this gathering continue to heal and bring joy to the hearts of all 2Spirit around the world, those who were able to join us in person, and those who were there in spirit. Cash prizes will be awarded to three two spirit winners, along with one prize for an ally.
This event is sponsored by BAAITS Drum, and all two spirit relatives and family are welcome to join in the celebration. The BAAITS drum is an intertribal two-spirit drum community. TWO Two Spirit Drums! Join us for this end-of-the -year celebration and medicine drum circle with our beloved IndigeQueer community drums, the BAAITS Drum and the Wakan Wiya Two Spirit Drum. The Bay is gifted with these drums that both center our IndigeQueer QTBIPOC community healing. Put your prayers down together on the drum for these coming winter months and vision the new year with strong prayers and intentions for our beloved friends and family.
The drum is where we can support the ways we move medicine for and with each other. The circle is the time we make for ourselves to dream and vision our wellness, all under these night skies here in Huichiun, land of the Confederated Villages of the Lisjan Ohlone.
