Also looks to have had improper break in process on cam to buckets when GSC cams were installed and/or incorrect bucket sizing for valve lash. Tons of metal in the oil from the wear on those.
As per usual we make sure no parts that may contain contaminated oil are reused. Oil pan-valve cover is new so that part is easy on a new OEM longblock. Oil cooler is tossed, new unit installed, turbo is refreshed or new unit installed, etc.
Biggest thing you can do with these cars is protect whatever investment you are pouring into the car. Be smart and don’t cheap out on important parts.

Customer Evo in for some upgrades but had stated there was a little noise in transmission area when engaging clutch. I would say so!
Allen bolt came loose on top of pressure plate top bracket and almost caused a catastrophic failure. Not super impressed by ACTs twin discs as time has gone on. We want to like them but there are design areas of concern.
