visually arresting and deeply beautiful.
truly amazed at the sheer volume of work sargent created, and this lovely subset exhibited at the met captures so much of what he did masterfully. regret i do not have time to view it again.
someone asked me today if i feel any wiser.
i said, “every day.”
and i suppose that is true. wisdom is learned by the rote of living. it’s about continuing. about counting on another day. about tomorrow. there is wisdom in trying again. there’s wisdom in keeping on.
so have i, at my big age, uncovered some divine truth only revealed by time? nope. not really. just as lost as the rest of y’all.
hello, 43.
well. here we are again. this week really made me earn this birthday. but i guess that makes it all the sweeter. the more of these i have the less sure i am of what they mean. so i guess like figure it out for yourself and enjoy the sunset. cotton candy skies and confetti cake dreams. 😘✌🏻
yesterday was my birthday. and i took most the day off social media. yada yada about the gifts we give ourselves or some bullshit. but here’s a picture i took of myself while pissing as the clock flipped from june 30 to july 1 and i completed my 41st twirl around the sun.
feel like this accurately sums up my cruise experience. don’t ask me how.
we made friends. we made memories.
cute shit.
and best of all, my fit game was on point.
