Elbow pain in baseball usually isn’t from throwing too much… it’s from throwing wrong. One of the biggest mistakes young players make is letting the arm collapse or bend during the throwing motion. That puts unnecessary stress directly on the elbow joint. In this breakdown, Coach Teddy is showing players how to curl the glove side and drive the elbow down through the throw. This keeps the arm working through a clean, consistent arm slot instead of breaking down under pressure. When the arm path stays strong and connected: ⚾ The elbow takes less stress ⚾ The arm slot stays consistent ⚾ Pitchers can throw more innings ⚾ Command and accuracy improve Good mechanics don’t just make you throw harder….they help you stay healthy and on the field. Master the movement. Protect the arm. Pitch longer.

That sounds good… until you understand what reps actually require. Reps without strength just reinforce limitations. Strength training raises the ceiling. This isn’t bodybuilding. This isn’t maxing out for ego. This is force production training. āš¾ļø Hitting = force into the ground → transferred through the hips → into the barrel. āš¾ļø Throwing = force from the lower half → through the core → into the arm. āš¾ļø Sprinting = force into the ground in the shortest time possible. If an athlete can’t produce force, they can’t transfer force. If they can’t transfer force, they can’t express power. A standing barbell press isn’t about ā€œlifting heavy.ā€ It teaches: • Core stability under load • Force transfer from ground up • Scapular control and shoulder integrity • Coordination of the kinetic chain • Producing power while standing (just like the game) Strength training done properly: āœ”ļø Improves bat speed āœ”ļø Improves exit velocity āœ”ļø Improves throwing velocity āœ”ļø Improves durability āœ”ļø Reduces injury risk The game is explosive. Explosive athletes aren’t built from reps alone — they’re built from strength + speed + skill. We don’t replace baseball reps. We support them. Built in the Grind. Forged in 9. #BaseballLife #BallPlayer #ThrowGas #BaseballStrength #nextlevelathlete Because when strength goes up, everything else has room to grow. Train smart. Train strong. Then go compete. šŸ’Ŗāš¾ļø

Fast is earned and Colin is earning itšŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ˜Ž Before the speed, before the explosiveness, before the highlight plays… comes learning how to move the right way. Here’s a young athlete taking the ladder slow, thinking through every step, building balance, rhythm, and body control. And that’s exactly how it should be. Great players aren’t rushed. They’re developed. Start young. Move well. Build confidence. Then over time, we layer in speed. One day what felt slow and difficult becomes natural and automatic. That’s the process. That’s the foundation. That’s how athletes grow. Brothers in 9. Built in the grind. Forged in 9.šŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ¤Ŗ #YouthBaseball #BaseballDevelopment #StartYoung #TrustTheProcess #AthleteDevelopment

The big throws. The hard hits. The velo jumps. What they don’t see is the coaching, the conversations, and the reps it takes to build the movement correctly. Here’s a look inside how we teach the Landmine rotation step by step — posture, hands, hips, pace, breathing. Making sure the athlete understands why he’s doing it, not just how. Because real development happens when nobody’s watching. Slow it down. Coach it. Own it. Then speed it up. That’s how you build movements that transfer to the field. Brothers in 9. If you’re a catcher, your gear isn’t optional on game day… so why train without it? At B9 we build athletes who are explosive, mobile, and powerful in the equipment they compete in. Hurdles. Ladder work. Movement patterns. All while the body adapts to the extra weight and restriction. Because when it’s time to block, recover, and throw — it should feel natural, not heavy. We don’t wait for games to get comfortable. We build it every single rep. Brothers in 9. Built in the grind. 12 years old and a true student of the game. šŸ“š We spent a lot of time talking about finger pressure and finish....not just "throwing hard." When a player trusts the coaching and stays patient with the process, this is what happens. It’s an art form when done right. Beyond the movement and the spin rate is a kid who listens, learns, and applies. That’s the real win here. Keep grinding, Logan. The game rewards the work. #BaseballLife #Mentorship #B9 #WorkInSilence #Fundamental

Coach Kyle and Colin have been working meticulously together and here is a prime example of it! Mechanics don’t magically happen on the mound. They’re built on the ground, rep by rep, until the body understands what needs to be done. For Colin , Coach Kyle was able to -Slow it down -Guide the foot placement -Made sure the direction , balance, and timing are repeatable Then he grabbed a glove and popped a squat behind the plate to test everything that has been understood and absorbed. If you want your pitcher learning the why behind every movement, come train with us! Just shoot us a Dm and we will get you in the gym ASAPā€¼ļø . . . #pitchinglessons #baseballtraining #youthpitching #kidstraining

Coach Teddy leading the boys by example. Here one of the boys was struggling with the proper form. So Coach Teddy is showing and doing the proper form with the boys so they have a reference and a much better understanding of how to properly perform the drillšŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ˜Ž

Anyone can tell a kid what to do. Real coaching teaches them HOW and WHY to do it. With small group training, we’re close enough to see the details most programs miss. Such as body position, balance, foot placement, and decision-making in real time. When something’s off, we correct it immediately. When something’s right, it’s congratulated and reinforced! That’s how confidence is built. That’s how habits are formed. That’s how athletes actually improve. We don’t run kids through lines and hope for the best. We guide them. We teach them. We invest in them. If you want your child coached , not just worked out….this is where it starts. Built in the grind. Forged in NinešŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ˜ŽšŸ§”
