At B2R Farms, we are committed to teaching conservation agriculture practices, as developed by Foundations for Farming, to achieve food security, improve the lives of small-scale farmers, and launch the careers of young, agriculture professionals.
We were honored to host the Foundations for Farming Leadership Summit 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda!
From September 15–17, leaders from Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe gathered to share how faith-driven conservation agriculture is transforming lives and communities worldwide.
Together, we worshipped, learned, and celebrated how faithful stewardship brings hope, renewal, and lasting impact.
Thank you to our partners, @foundations.international and @crownfinancialministries , for making this gathering possible. The lessons and stories from these three days will continue to inspire and strengthen communities across Africa and beyond.

‘Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.’ - Psalm 103:2
Earlier this month, our Director of Training, Rosine Ndayishimiye had the distinct honor of hosting the 31st National Prayer Breakfast. It was a powerful morning of fellowship, sharing a meal, and remembering God’s work in our nation alongside His Excellency President Paul Kagame and the First Lady.
“Agriculture goes beyond digging.”
Through the B2R Farms session with Isomo Academy, Dalton shares how agriculture is evolving into a field filled with opportunity, from transportation and trade to innovation and Conservation Agriculture.
With lower costs, less energy, and stronger harvests, modern farming is proving that agriculture is not only valuable but essential for the future.
Young people have a place in this transformation, and the time to rethink agriculture is now.
In Rwanda’s Eastern Province, where low rainfall and degraded soils challenge farmers, Foundations for Farming’s conservation agriculture is transforming both land and livelihoods. With the support of B2R Farms Fellow Fabiola Niragire, what began with just two farmers and a small plot has grown into a community-wide movement—equipping farmers with practical, field-based training that reduces costs while increasing yields.
Today, farmers are harvesting more, earning more, and building more secure futures for their families. As Kigabiro Sector Agronomist Sandrine Rutikanga shares, “What I wish is for all farmers to adopt conservation agriculture, so that we can increase food production. As time goes on, mindsets will continue to change, until all land is farmed using conservation methods.”
Around 60 farmers from Rukumberi, supported by Compassion International, recently visited our demonstration farms after completing Foundations for Farming training with B2R Farms.
What they saw confirmed what they had begun to practice on their own land, even in the face of drought, crops grown under Conservation Agriculture are thriving.
Through shared testimonies and practical observation, farmers deepened their understanding of how protecting the soil leads to stronger, more sustainable harvests.
When farmers see results with their own eyes, adoption becomes inevitable, and with it comes renewed hope for future generations.
Did you know that healthy soil is the secret to a great harvest? 🌱
At B2R Farms, we are teaching farmers the power of Conservation Agriculture. This modern method actually started in Zimbabwe. After seeing how well it worked on our training farms here in Rwanda, we knew we had to share it!
By protecting the soil and not plowing it, we help farmers grow more while spending much less.
“The harvest is plentiful…”
@southrwanda , we’re beginning to see it.
During our recent visit, we witnessed encouraging harvests, growing adoption of conservation agriculture, and farmers actively preparing for the season.

We were honored to host senior officers from the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College at our Busogo Demo Farm as part of their National Study Tour.
The visit highlighted the connection between climate resilience and sustainable development. At B2R Farms, we remain committed to advancing Rwanda’s environmental priorities through innovative and sustainable agriculture as developed by FfF
