Today, Tangos Imaginarios is officially out, and I want to celebrate it with all of you!

This album is inspired by the music of two iconic figures in tango history: Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla. Well-known and lesser-known works are reimagined through new and deeply personal arrangements, incorporating elements of improvisation, electronic music, and a more contemporary perspective, revealing once again the enduring power and timeless relevance of these extraordinary compositions.

Recorded in Buenos Aires, Paris, Montreal, and Zurich, this album is the result of years of artistic research and collaboration with some of the most inspiring and forward-thinking musicians in the genre. I had the privilege of working with legendary pianist Gustavo Beytelmann, drummer Daniel Pipi Piazzolla

More than a static tribute, this project aims to create a dialogue with that musical legacy. And through that process, to embrace the idea that finding one’s own voice is never a final destination, it is always evolving. It’s a huge challenge, of course, but also what gives this project its deepest meaning.
