Your body does so much for you, the least you can do is stretch it.
Stretching isn't just a warmup. It's how you move better, recover faster, feel less tension, and actually stay in the game long-term. Whether you're an athlete or just someone sitting at a desk all day, your muscles need this.
Make flexibility part of the routine. Your future self will thank you. 💪🏾

Hudson is 14. His session looks nothing like the rest of my roster...and that's the point.
We move. We compete. We keep it fun. The second the energy dips, we lose the momentum.
Different ages. Different goals. Different people. Same job every time: figure out what they actually need, and show up for that.

Most people think the lift is the work. The hold is the work.
I stopped separating strength days and control days once I started building isometric kettlebell flows. Same weight, same time, twice the demand.
Try it on your next set. Add a 3-second pause at the hardest point of the rep.

Nobody talks about the boring stuff. Everyone wants the heavy sets, the PRs, the highlight reel.
But the lifters still going strong in their 40s, 50s, 60s? They all have one thing in common...they earned it through the unsexy work. Daily mobility.
Honest warm ups. Respecting the body that's carrying them.
Move every day. Warm up every session. Future you will thank you. 💪🏾

Can we talk about the quiet wins for a second?
Not the highlight reel. Not the milestone moments. The ordinary stuff — like answering the hard email. Drinking the water. Choosing the harder conversation over the easier silence.
Those count. Those are the reps. Those are the things that build the person you're becoming.
Keep going. Even the small steps are still moving you forward. 👉🏾 @b.forrest_

Forget the before/afters.
The real win is the "I never thought I could do that" text.
Helping people feel strong > everything. Hallelujah. 🙌

Real moment with a client this week:
- She watched me demo the air bike workout I programmed for her and said, "You're barely sweating. This looks easy."
- Me: "Want to try?"
- Her, 30 seconds in: "I take it back. I take it all back."
Here's what the air bike teaches you, and honestly, what years of training teaches you:
Effort and appearance aren't the same thing.
I looked calm because I've done this 500 times. My heart rate? 175.
She looked like she was dying because it was her first time. Her heart rate? 172.
Nearly identical effort. Completely different appearance.
That's what real conditioning does. You don't suffer less, you suffer quieter. You learn to stay composed when your body is screaming. That skill carries into everything: the stressful meeting, the long day, the moment life demands more than you planned for.
This is the kind of training most people over 35 actually need — not another punishing workout, but programming that builds real capacity without breaking you down.
If you're ready to train smarter and finally see what your body can still do, DM me "READY" and let's talk about your goals. Limited 1-on-1 spots opening this month.

25 year old me: pizza for dinner, 5 hours of sleep, PR the next morning. No notes.
34 year old me: looks at a heavy barbell wrong and pulls something.
Here's the plot twist though...you're not weaker after 30. Your body just stopped letting you cheat the system.
What actually works in my 30s:
➡️ Rest days are scheduled like workouts. Non-negotiable. No guilt.
➡️ Warmups are 10+ minutes. Joints and muscles need a proper invite.
➡️ Sleep > extra sessions. Always. Recovery is where the gains live.
➡️ Deload every 4–6 weeks. Drop intensity 40%. Come back stronger.
➡️ Daily mobility. Not post-workout — every single morning.
The truth nobody tells you: your 30s, 40s, and 50s can be your strongest chapter yet. But only if you respect the recovery. Your body's already talking. Start listening.
