A very rare car from the past.

Always one of my favorite photos. The Consulier was the predecessor to this rare and unique car.

Hagerty just did an article on my buddies Consulier. He was out here in October for the Radwood 80-90's car event. On his way home it established an oil leak by the turbocharger and quickly caught on fire. Ironically, it was within coasting distance of the Burnt Well Rest stop off I-10. As he rolled in to the rest area, literally in flames, people came from all around with water and bags of ice to put the car out. I towed him back to Phoenix where we repaired it and he was back on the road to Oregon.
