Congratulations to Chino Valley’s own Kathryn Crew for her first-place win in the Moonshot Rural Arizona Pitch Competition!! 🏆🚀🌵
Her company, MycoEarth, is using mushroom cultivation to reverse soil damage and protect the food supply for future generations.
Also, Flagstaff-based nonprofit Moonshot was recognized in Chicago as the Global Rural Entrepreneur Support Organization of the Year! 🏆Go Moonshot!

This investment boosts Arizona’s manufacturing strength and expands production capacity, creating new opportunities for our growing workforce.
Over the last month, ACA team members traveled throughout the state to share details with local partners about the Opportunity Zones 2.0 program.
When Opportunity Zones were designated in 2018, Arizona moved quickly – attracting $2.6 billion in investment, the second most of any state.
With Opportunity Zones 2.0 initiated as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Arizona is looking to build on our success - accelerating additional investment for housing, commercial development, and business activity.
The ACA’s roadshow convened stakeholders across 12 counties and 20 Tribal communities, bringing together more than 400 participants

GRAND OPENING: Today we joined Governor Hobbs and Arizona Western College to open the #Future48 Workforce Accelerator in Yuma County!
This center is expanding access to hands-on training in key fields including electrical technology, advanced manufacturing, broadband fiber optics, and solar installation.
This project is part of Arizona’s broader Future48 initiative — a statewide network of advanced manufacturing training centers supported by a $30 million investment from the Arizona Commerce Authority.
