I never got to properly post about The International Woman Leadership Conference #TIWLC2022 in Dubai
My first (physical) international event as a Compere / MC / Host 🎤
It all started at the @wimbizng WIMBIZ 20th Anniversary Annual Conference in Lagos where the phenomenal Mrs @yewandezaccheaus and THE Mrs @ibukunawosika had spotted me hosting.
A few weeks later, I received an amazing phone call (may you receive a destiny-changing phone call this week too. Amen?), requesting for my services for this conference. I must have danced around the house 😄
A new thing, new territories - An opportunity to expand my hosting catalogue and very importantly, the wonderful opportunity to work with the Amazons, Mrs A and Mrs Z!
The rest they say is history (right?) lol. I’ll save the details of the story for some of the private sessions I host.
However, I must say this, Dubai was an unforgettable experience. Not just for me, but for every single delegate who attended from various countries around the world. I would recommend it again and again (and again x 100). Registration for next year is now open and spaces are very limited.
The event was beautifully and intentionally curated for leaders and emerging leaders. Mrs A was particular about promoting networking and building tribes to ensure that you never have to walk alone, and you can leverage the expertise and experience of others who have gone ahead of you or walked the road you’re on now.
We went from deep conversations to fun nights in a Battle of the Bands competition 😄. We dressed up and we let our hair down. We shed tears and we celebrated wins and accomplishments.
This is one of the perks of my job, being able to be enriched immensely whilst working! I can’t count the number of rooms and conferences I’ve been in, learning and widening my network. I am super grateful to God for this privilege.

See what the Lord has done! Thank You Jesus for blessing our home with these precious gifts. We are forever grateful and words will never be enough to express our gratitude. We thank You our Abba Father. Good and Faithful God.

As we celebrate today, I also honour anyone who’s in the waiting room as we ourselves were. It has been quite an eventful month. I have enjoyed steering conversations like the one above at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) IWD Event 2026.
