Kiez Burn was a wonderful mess of beautiful souls and I got to have my first solo DJ set at cafe wonderland (cafe underworld? Cafe wonderwall?) together with a group of very enthusiastic ravers.

As generative AIs start to get better and better I am transported back to my early experiments with intentionally giving AIs the worst set of circumstances to "succeed" in creating clean, realistic images.
I trained an AI to generate faces, using a dataset full of distorted, smeared, blurry, incomplete and strange images. Some related and some completely unrelated to introduce some chaos.
On top of that I gave the algorithms very little time to learn, cutting it off before it started getting "good".
What happens when we let these algorithms dream with fewer restrictions? What shapes comes from within the code? What's coming from us humans and what has now taken on a life of its own?
