My life for the last 8 years was #Spiritairlines. No matter how anyone felt about Spirit I along with 15,000 others showed up in an attempt to change the narrative. Spirit allowed me and my family to see parts of the world we’d never even seen in pictures. The bonds and relationships that my team members and I built made us family. If there was one thing I never expected it is parting ways like this. Last week, we were the joke of social media, still showing up and flying people 36,000 feet in the air. Laughing in galleys and not really understanding our fate but today it’s real. Today, there’s no more saving what some of us really loved. Spirit wasn’t just a job it was a bridge for me to stay connected to my family and friends far and wide. Spirit was a lifeline, a blessing and a job I so happened to love. So for now, let it breathe. The stories are true but the hustle don’t stop. Believe that.
