We invite everyone to a summer's evening filled with Indian classical music by sitar duo Sri Ayan Sengupta and Smt Srijanee Banerjee accompanied by Ustad Shahbaz Hussain ‘Son of Lahore' awardee on Tabla.
The sound of the taanpura drone sets the scene for the two renowned Indian music scholars to begin their sitar recital of seasonal Indian classical ragas associated with the pahars (times of day).
An evening of traditional Indian culture to leave your mind, body and soul fully recharged.
The recital will be preceded by a talk titled ‘Insights to Indian Classical Music' with the three eminent musicians and chaired by @raybarsa published & listed author and Trustee at South Asian Arts-uk.
Seating for this event is unreserved. Booths include entry for 6 people to the event, includes a bottle of fizz, and guarantees your space for the evening.
All ticket holders can join Ayan, Srijanee and Shahbaz ji for a free pre-concert talk before the performance.
