Glory, Glory to old Georgiaš¾
In the 2.5 years since transferring to University of Georgia, Iāve learned a lot, but the most important lesson has been to keep going and keep trying. Along the way, I earned my degree, made friendships that will last a lifetime, and worked to leave my mark on this campus by helping create a better sense of community for Black students searching for belonging.
Whatās even crazier is that I never planned on going to college at all. Now, Iām living proof that even when life gets hard or your plans change, it can still all work out exactly the way itās meant to and it will all be worth it.
