1 WEEK TO GO!
I so so so appreciate all the support I’ve received over the past week since teasing the release of my new single, “beautiful.”Can’t wait to share this song with you all!
I wrote this song when I felt distant from God. Prayers felt routinely and empty rather than connected like they had before. Reading the Bible felt academic and boring. My heart felt hardened to the Holy Spirit.
But through this “desert season” (excuse the christianese) I discovered a deeper connection to God. My prayers became raw and intentional. I read His Word in desperation and thirst for something true.
This is why I called the song “beautiful.” Despite everything that we might experience and go through, God is continuously beautiful. His love knows no bounds. Even when I was feeling so distant from God, I can now see how He was working in the background of it all. Even when I had unbelief and pride, He showed me grace and patience. His love is truly unusual. ✝️💙
