THROW THAT AXE IN A CIRCLE THROW THAT AXE …Axe throwing can be surprisingly therapeutic, as it combines physical release with mental focus. The act of throwing an axe requires participants to center their energy, let go of stress, and focus intensely on the target, providing an outlet for emotions in a controlled, safe environment. This release can feel both empowering and calming, much like other physical forms of expression in art therapy.
The instructor @axenchill played a key role in making this experience accessible, especially for the children. They offered very detailed, step-by-step instructions, breaking down each part of the motion and emphasizing safety. Their patience shone through, allowing the children time to understand, practice, and build confidence with each throw. This supportive guidance helped create a fun, positive atmosphere, where the kids felt encouraged and able to participate fully, making the experience both therapeutic and memorable.
