This program is designed specifically for youth ages 11 - 14 to explore and experiment with different art materials and techniques all while having FUN! Celebrate National Public Works Week with a fleet of the City’s big rigs parked around Red Arrow Park. Kids will enjoy a unique opportunity to explore various trucks and meet the people who operate them! AWE's creative team will be onsite offering some hands-on fun. Milwaukee Recreation's Partnership for the Arts and Humanities ensures access to the arts throughout Milwaukee. Come find AWE among the 30+ organizations supported by PFTAH ❤️ this Friday between 4-7 PM at North Division High School and see what our city has to offer in terms of incredible after-school and summer programming!
Marco Romantini has worked at AWE for many years and he has worn many hats over the course of his time with us. Working in both our Truck Studio and Residency programs and serving as our first in-house, artist-in-residence in 2025.
He currently supports our mission working as a Program Coordinator where he is responsible for keeping several of our programs rolling smoothly throughout the year. He also continues to use his talents to teach with us.
In addition to his work with AWE, Marco maintains his own studio practice and works with other organizations.
