🏔️Avy supports offline mode — load the forecast before you leave and it stays visible all day in the field.
📝You can also submit observations without an internet connection. No need to scribble in your notes app, just submit and Avy will sync it automatically once you’re back online.

The new NWAC website isn’t just a redesign. Built with avalanche centers across the country to create a more unified, user-friendly forecast experience, the new platform will include: - Shared, global content across all centers - Location-based events to find courses near you - A reimagined forecast experience - Future integrated data for a more personalized user experience

Meet Rusty 👋 – NWAC’s Product Manager.
Behind the scenes, Rusty has been helping lead the development of AvyWeb. Building on the collaborative success of AvyApp (@avyforecast ), we’ve partnered with other avalanche centers to create a shared platform that lets each center build and maintain its own site.
@savycenter and @sawtoothavy are already on the platform, and NWAC will join this coming winter.
This kind of work takes time, investment, and a whole lot of coordination, and it’s powered by this community.

Both CNFAIC and HPAC’s forecasts, weather data, and observations can now be found on the AvyApp, where you can view streamlined, up-to-date avalanche and weather forecasts for your selected zone, use offline caching, and submit observations on the go.
