Long winded post....My hobby is now rollerblading, found it because of COVID. Stuck to it because of the health benefits and mental destress that comes with it. Now I am obsessed. I'm always shunned for wearing pads as it (as you can see) is not aesthetically pleasing but the truth I tell those folks is...nothing hurts me MORE than to NOT ROLLERBLADE! So I will take every precaution necessary to continue this blessing to do what I love and in good health. Have you ever been at a skatepark and was stared at by someone who aspires to have all 4 limbs functioning correctly? Happens to me quite often, and to that I say....live your life to its fullest capabilities without regrets or remorse, but safely. Lazy ppl call it YOLO and today I just wanted to reiterate just that, yolo. Do you and forget the rest! We have the inception of doubt and disbelief that might come from those closest to us, but don't listen to that or them. Believe in yourself and you will be fine. No music, so you can smell the fear. I was scared, not complete acrophobia, but there was a sensation that was overcoming my body and thoughts, holding me back from dropping in, which was FEAR. I told my dawg a while back "Im coming back and hitting this drop in and working on sitting in 1st"....I never did. My brothers held me accountable, especially Mike (filming)...I NEED THAT SHIT! WE ALL NEED THAT SHIT! Hold yourself accountable to your goals and feel the euphoria that comes with it, its unreal. Who tf is this even?!?!
