Here’s just a little glimpse of my biggest mural to date(4000sqf, 400’ long 10’ high).
Over a year ago Hudson County came to me with an opportunity to showcase my passion and talent in designing and painting the words “Hudson County, N.J.” at the forefront of the busiest intersection in New Jersey, 1&9 truck route at rt440. I was asked that I give my take on incorporating history, wildlife, and nature significant and symbolic to the county.
I was able to give commuters that will pass this wall daily, inevitably sitting in traffic, a calm and relaxing array of colors while being bright and uplifting at the same time.
Similar to all the different colors of the sky, from sunrise, to sunset, to the gloomy overcast skies that can often seem uniquely synonymous to the area.
With the tremendous help from my good friends
@nicebeats ,
@newpaloop , and
@dennisalanvids who all assisted me in this project, we were able to complete it in under three weeks. I couldn’t thank them enough.
This project was not only massive, important, fun, and exciting, but it was a learning experience and a huge honor.
There were many moving parts to this project. Everyone in the county that was involved in making this happen, I couldn’t thank enough.
Thank you everyone that stopped by, honked, and screamed at us as we worked, you all gave me the encouragement I needed.
