🥇 This weekend at the @playhighline event in Huntington with the hammer @djklasnic 🙏🏼 I love playing at Huntington Pier with all the energy going around and people watching the games from up top. Nik and the Highline team are running solid events at iconic spots in Southern California - thank you guys for making this so fun for us to play. DJ is a competitor 😤 It was fun to be out there with him all week getting ready for this and then to put it to the test in a tournament. It was also really cool to get to know him more as a person and his story coming from Serbia to follow his dream as a volleyballer. AND we got to eat some Serbian food together post game to celebrate and that was gooooood!!! We came up just short of a League team this summer. Huge props to all of the guys and girls who are playing, they fully deserve it and I know all the blood sweat and tears that go into being able to play on that level. Like always, there are way more players out there who deserve a shot at those opportunities and those moments and I pray that our sport will have more and more room as the years go on 🙏🏼 It’s always hard not to have your name get called - it’s a gnarly part of sports!! These are moments that can break you down if you lean into the dissapointment, or they can fill you with motivation to get up again. And even more importantly they can point you to the things in your life that endure every high and low, and that your real life is built on 🙏🏼 I’ve been so blessed to have a full life of joy around me anchored in Christ. And an unbelievable volleyball life so far! There’s way more ahead to play and fight for this summer and I’ve already got a taste with my brotha @jack_walmer who RIPPED in Austin and is showing everyone how far he has come and what he’s gonna be for years to come! Me and @djklasnic have some work to do this weekend with @playhighline - and I’ve been fired up by his energy!! AVP Austin Open 04-17-2026 🏐

Epic 3 weeks competing with my brotha @timbomgren in the @avpbeach League qualifying series in MB 🙏🏼 What a baller! That’s a lot of flying for Timmy and he’s a legend for how he handles it! But for me playing in my backyard with so many people who know and love our game, and stepping back to serve with our friends and our kids behind the banners is the ultimate dream. I love our team - Tim, Pauly, and @tytramblie working together and still trying to master this game. All the tense moments we get through together and all the brotherhood along the way. It’s so awesome. Everyone says stuff like this so it sounds cliche, but if you’re like me you might understand. I grew up kind of a lost kid not knowing where I belonged, but volley helped put me on a path to be shaped and formed and challenged in a way I so badly needed. And just that it’s worked out to be on the court with great friends in front of people I love is a miracle, and the only explanation is God’s grace and love. Thank you to everyone who has had our backs, especially my family at @wedbushsecurities - without whom this wouldn’t be possible! I’m praying we get to represent a League team! It’s a huge honor and privilege, and I love competing in the arenas with the best fans in the world! “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
