Pacific Playwrights Festival Highlight: "Pleasers" by Avery Deutsch
Evan wants to get into Yale. Each week he works on his college essays at Miriam’s house. Tyler, her 28-year-old son, wants to be Evan's friend, trying each week to impress him. But Evan would rather be Miriam’s friend. And Miriam has a lot going on—so she just wants her boys to be good.
See the staged reading on Saturday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m.

Montana Repertory Theatre proudly announces the next installment of our popular Plays on Tap Series, Lost & Found, running November 13-23, 2025 at the Missoula Art Museum, 335 N Pattee St, in downtown Missoula. Thanks to the generosity of Northwestern Energy, tickets are Pick-What-You-Pay, with $25 suggested. Available now at montanarep.org/tickets (link in bio).
“Welcome to your local art museum, now sponsored by the U.S. Department of War. We want to assure you that all rumors that the museum has become in any way abnormal or unsafe in recent weeks are entirely untrue. And there is absolutely nothing to the hearsay that our beautiful artworks are having profound metaphysical interactions with our patrons.”
The Rep partners with the MAM to bring you this unique blending of live theatre and visual art. Join us as four playwrights – Paul W. Kruse, Madeline Sayet, Habib Yazdi, and Avery Deutsch – explore what it means to lose something and, perhaps, find it again.
This on-site performance of four new plays includes mature themes and language. Audiences will move throughout the art museum during the show.

And then the remarkable @trimblenator (who is truly kindness personified) captured our ceremony and party—tears, magic trick, debauchery and all. A total dream.
Two months ago we got married in Prospect Park (where we met!!). Our amazing friend @danielterna , who Brenden has known since he was nineteen, took these unbelievable portraits. I love them so much.
One more Winter Guard post— can’t get over these production photos or these people. What a gift!
