a few months ago i took up a job in culinary + pastry which is a door i never really thought to open up for myself because i understandably had some fear surrounding the sacrifice of other creative endeavors. turns out when you’re creating something every single day and you let yourself be more than one thing, you can become quite fulfilled! here are things i’ve made for/with friends, myself, work and some photos of some of my earliest moments of kitchen joy featuring cakes made for various birthdays in childhood by my master baker grandmother. pictured is also her bakery storefront and a hilarious bikini cake i consider to be her magnum opus. it feels like i’m carrying the torch in my own way, i look at my hands and happily see my fingers take the shape of hers <3

been backpacking around for a few weeks now- i was taking a victory lap in seville after hearing about zohran’s win back home and stumbled upon this cathedral that i’m still thinking about every day. i sat here for probably an hour trying to scour over every detail

we took these summer 2024 in boston sometime in july. i’d asked them to pick some places that felt significant and we popped around for the day collecting sweat beads- the album was yet to be recorded at the time and it was a special thing to hear it come together and watch the excitement surrounding it grow.
it’s a new feeling to work on a visuals, revisit them a year later come campaign time and feel unwaveringly good about something i’ve gotten to make. really really stoked for these guys and what’s to come. thank you for your trust <3 hope you give it a listen- out friday :)
