I’m such a science and space nerd. I got the opportunity to play Grace Hubble in this MACH 33 festival at Caltech. It’s fascinating the moment in time is about the expanding universe and it’s so much replicates the moment we’re in right now.

News years eve, walking with my friend Shirin up Orange Grove as the News Years Day a parade floats lined up.
By the morning the rains had pummeled the floats but at this time - just before midnight - it was a light sprinkle as if the earth was misting a mobile flower shop.

Clyde update: we’re safe and at home🙏🏽. Others were the ones filming it and weren’t so lucky. Our hearts go out to our dear friends & colleagues who lost their homes and their towns. Whole towns people. 💔
Wednesday morning I even thought oh “I’ll work a little this afternoon after we clean up”. Ha. The early afternoon was spent cleaning up outside from the wind storm. (Kier and I had watched the show Gumball in the morning and proceeded to fill a whole extra large trashcan with gumballs, that realization was good for a smile ;)
By late afternoon I was walking around the house doing a prelim of what we’d take and by evening I was in the basement sorting old videos and sentimentals. Went to bed at midnight , checked my phone and got back up and went to the basements till 2a and finished the photos and art. I just didn’t want to wake up and it be so much worse Id have to decide between precious things. Thursday morning we had 3 options of where to go thanks to amazing friends and fam and I felt prepared. Thankfully the winds were kind and slowed so we stayed on the edge and not in it.
Today we’re checkin with friends, actually getting back to work and this weekend I’ll reorganize the basement that I ransacked Wednesday.
The week started off bright with the first day of school Tuesday & I set my intentions for 2025.
1.When judgement comes up swap it with curiosity
2.Take better care of myself.
Little did I know.
Please send love and resources to those who’ve lost their homes and communities. It’s a sad time here but Californians are resilient and I know I saw the best of us this week. People are basically good. I’m inspired by all of you. You got this and we’re here for anything and all . My home is your home ❤️
