La Maison Bleue is not simply a hotel in El Gouna. It is a private house on the Red Sea, shaped by memory, architecture, and a certain relaxed elegance. Today, it is part of Relais & Châteaux and known for its intimate, lived-in atmosphere, its 13 suites, its layered antiques, and its quiet sense of character.
La Maison Bleue grew from a precise cultural memory. Its origins lie with Amr Khalil and architect Olivier Sednaoui, and a vision shaped by what they both carried from the same formative world.
They shared a nostalgia for a generation that came of age in a cosmopolitan Egypt, before 1952, when Mediterranean influences, pluralism, and a distinct social fabric defined daily life. That way of living, the Ancien Régime, with its mood, rituals, and sense of proportion, became the foundation of La Maison Bleue. Drawing on his deep knowledge of Cairo and Alexandria, Amr salvaged and restored furniture, columns, ceilings, and architectural elements from historic villas facing demolition, returning them to daily use.
This video carries his words, but also his presence, in the rooms, the rhythm of the house, and the way it continues to be lived in.
This is his voice.
And this is his house.

Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Resort, Marbella.
Set a little outside the centre of Marbella, Anantara Villa Padierna feels less like a beach resort and more like a private Andalusian palazzo.
Once the stately home of the Count of Villa Padierna, the property is known for its ochre pink façade, grand interiors, paintings, sculptures and tapestries. It is polished, but not overly modern. More collected than designed.
Condé Nast Traveler describes it as one of Marbella’s most lavish hotel addresses, with 130 rooms, an enormous Roman spa, hydrotherapy, hammam and aromatherapy rooms. Its restaurants, including La Veranda and La Loggia, bring together Spanish, Italian and French influences.
A Marbella address for those who prefer their summer with history, space and a sense of old world elegance.

Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, reimagined through movement.
As part of Theater Days in Abu Dhabi, The Train Arrives In… brings a contemporary dance interpretation of one of literature’s most complex narratives to the stage at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
Focusing on emotional tension rather than a literal retelling, the production explores the space between passion and duty through choreography, visual theatre, and minimalist scenography.
Featuring internationally acclaimed artists Vladislav Lantratov and Daria Pavlenko, the performance offers a refined and deeply layered perspective on Anna’s internal world.
An intimate format. A global cast. A story that continues to resonate.

At Milan Design Week, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts presents Objects That Speak — an installation that moves beyond design into dialogue.
Curated as a conversation with the legacy of Andrea Branzi, the exhibition brings together past and present through form, material, and narrative — where each piece reflects a distinct sense of place and cultural identity.
More than an exhibition, it is a reflection of how design becomes a language — shaped by context, carried across destinations, and experienced through atmosphere.
A private world. Seen differently.

Kasbah Tamadot is shaped by Berber heritage and collected pieces — an environment that feels instinctive, yet precisely composed.
Described as “one of the very finest kasbahs in Morocco”, the property leans into atmosphere: carved doors, hidden courtyards, rose-strewn pools, and objects that feel discovered rather than designed. It is immersive, yet curated — where culture and storytelling quietly meet.
There is a quiet theatricality to the experience. Dinner shifts location. Light is guided. Music appears.
@kasbahtamadot not raw Morocco. It is Morocco — translated.
Refined. Elevated. Edited.
Awarded three Michelin Keys, it earns its place through perspective: Luxury today is not defined by authenticity alone — but by how precisely that authenticity is framed.

Maro Garden introduces a spatial concept where nature and architecture exist in quiet dialogue.
Designed as a layered environment, the space unfolds progressively — balancing light, texture, and materiality to create a setting that feels both intentional and immersive.
Subtle design references, including influences drawn from Sri Lanka, add depth to the overall narrative — bringing warmth, tactility, and a grounded rhythm to the experience.
