AVBOB, in partnership with the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo, launched the “Together For You” GBVF+ Programme at our Head Office in Centurion.
This initiative strengthens our shared commitment to creating safer communities, empowering survivors and supporting SAPS Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Units in their vital work.
The launch included the handover of over 1,000 comfort packs for victims and survivors of GBVF+ put together for AVBOB staff, as well as a pledge-signing ceremony reaffirming our joint resolve to end the scourge violence and abuse. This isn’t just 16 days of activism - it’s a lifetime commitment to fighting GBVF+.
