We are looking for Latin actors for our heartfelt SCAD graduate student MFA thesis film about remembering cultural roots and staying connected with your grandparents.
1. Grandpa Fernando - Latino Male - Speaks Spanish and English (70-85 years old)
2. Granddaughter Lucia - Female, of Latin descent - Speaks Spanish and English (18-24 years old)
Logline: In a quiet corner of cultural tradition and memory, a grandfather tries to reconnect to his distant granddaughter, only to discover that some distances can’t be bridged in a day.
We will be filming in early November 2025 in the Savannah, GA area.

It’s time for my next major film! With Edgar Allan Poe’s particular brand of insanity and poetic storytelling, this homage to his love poem “Annabel Lee” takes a thriller twist. Filming in Jax, FL, Oct. 27-29th. Audition submissions close September 10th, callbacks within the following week. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Learned some new programs that I can’t afford, dabbled in some experimental film, made new friends, and tried my hardest at navigating the streets of Chicago despite being directionally challenged. Overall good times.
