We had a fabby rehearsal today working on mega detailed tuning (🤓) for one of our contest songs that we’re taking the Sing In conest at BHS in just 11 weeks 😱

Hi friends! We have an update for you lovely followers ❤️ We’re off to St Louis this summer to compete in the Sing In contest 🎶 While the BHS judges didn’t quite match our score from LABBS 2025, we’re so excited to have the opportunity to sing in the states as a foursome, with the potential to qualify for quarter finals 🤞🏻

First things first, CONGRATULATIONS to all the wonderful quartets who crossed the stage at prelims this weekend! We were cheering you on via the webcast. What an AMAZING display of the talented, hard working and dedicated quartets that we’re lucky enough to have in LABBS 💚 We know firsthand that (for some reason) prelims is the most nerve-racking performance possible, and you are all rockstars.
Prelims ended with the draw for LABBS in October, and we had a bit of a 😱😱😱 moment as we were drawn 7th! IT’S HAPPENING! We’re so excited to be singing at 11:06 on Friday 31st October (👻🎃) - be there or be pentagonal!
Some of our eagle eyed friends spotted a cheeky change of line-up in our recent tag video 🤓
We couldn’t think of anyone good enough to replace Karen… So instead we’ve replaced Sophie 🥳 That’s right - Avalon is now 50% Sophies! Sophie H, our long time friend, has joined us bossing out those bass notes, and Sophie S has moved to bari. We’re having an absolute blast rehearsing together, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on at LABBS in October!
