this is what art club was about this time
the neuroscience of flow state
creating a space where overthinking doesn’t really survive
no pressure to be good
no need to get it right
just showing up, staying with it, and getting into it
guided by @avaliberace who held the room properly
and @mister_sweezy that gave everyone something real to respond to
this art club edition isn’t about learning how to draw
it’s about getting out of your own way
I’m excited to share a couple works at the Candid Gallery group exhibition - Spring Salon ⭐️

Ava’s live drawing class — real focus, real observation. No shortcuts, just putting pen to paper and locking in.
Different styles, different approaches. Everyone learning in real time.
Back again next session. 🎨🔥
For this week at art club we’re joined by artist @avaliberace here are a few words from her on what you can expect:
A life drawing workshop blending nueroscience and portraiture. Drawing on altered states and anatomy of the mind, we’ll move between body, brain, and breath to explore what it means to be in flow state.

Free to attend, bring your own drawing tools and sketchbook if you can. We will have some here too.
Art Club is back with a different kind of edition.
This one explores the connection between neuroscience and art through flow state. A guided drawing session where movement, breath and attention shape what you create.
Less about getting it right, more about entering a state where your body leads and the marks follow.
Facilitated by @avaliberace
