Our first outreach of the year led us to Badagry Prison, Lagos State, where we had the privilege of feeding about 500 people and, more importantly, sharing hope.
Beyond the meals, we shared conversations, listened to their stories, learned about their journeys, and reminded them that their past does not define their future. We laughed, we reflected, we prayed, and we encouraged them not to give up because hope is still alive.
This visit opened our hearts even more as we learned about some minor offenses and explored ways we can support and advocate for change where possible. It was a deeply humbling and eye-opening experience that reaffirmed why Available Shoulders exists: to show love, offer support, and stand in the gap where it matters most.
We are grateful for this moment, for every life touched, and for the opportunity to serve. This is only the beginning.
