Meet our contributors for the first issue of lukewarm mag! ava grace generously shares with us process sketches behind the soundscape she calls, “333”. This is the first track on their debut EP “Through” available everywhere January 30.
“I needed the entrance to the world of “Through” to drag us into a sublime presence like when you listen to the wind.” says ava.
ava grace is an artist who creates using makeup, music and more. Her work serves to release grief, queer time and share moments of feeling free.

meeting the void as medium 🏳️ this was my art in the first half of 2025 💞
• my birthday, I played Through and we transformed an empty construction zone for one night
• movement fabric and emoting experiment time with friends, captured by @m.ltaing
• weaving with fallen willows
• filming in the garden in LA with @carsbymax , this dress, this vessel- I was barefoot covered in dirt directing and there were wildflowers- my flight was in 2 hours, made my flight just in time with clean feet
• playing in Crystal and Sabrina’s studio with Wandy and friends ❤️
• matching denim outfits in New York with my videographer, producer and tattoo artist (its my friends)
• just one of countless selfies from sighing zoning out dreaming breathing through pain and being silly from rolling beds 🫶 spoonies know the duality

🦷🪶this song is like losing my last baby tooth, crying about it and feeling over the empty spot and taste of iron. actually my right canine is still a baby tooth that took too long to drop down and the dentist always tells me to take extra care of because I’m missing the adult tooth above it- I love you Out Again!!! I’m in Taipei now writing this and the song is coming true in crazy new ways after all this time. I played it last at the show because I knew it would mean the most here.
