Last week @norightwaymovie screened at @twincitiesfilmfest and we are honored to announce that @avaacres received the Indie Vision Breakthrough Performance Award!!! 🏆 I couldn’t think of a more deserving human to receive this award!!
Anyone who saw Ava’s audition tape knew instantly that she was special. The raw presence and physicality that she brought to the role made her stand out and she voiced a deep connection that she felt to story and the character… but Ava’s passion and talent went far beyond her audition. Ava committed her heart and soul to this project, doing her homework, asking questions, building trust, taking the necessary time to bond and connect with Alana, as well as, connecting with her fellow scene partners. She understood the assignment and for that, I am eternally grateful. Not only is Ava a consummate professional but she’s an incredible human. She is full of grace, depth, kindness, strength, courage, love, passion, and brilliance. Ava helped hold space for me when I didn’t even know what direction was up or down. Because of this movie we’ve bonded in deep and meaningful ways and she will forever be family to me ❤️ thank you God for bringing us together 🙏 123 ✨ I love you little Aves, congratulations babe!!!
