What does it mean to feel like you belong at ETH? In some areas and teams there is no recognition for the need to change anything. In other parts of our institutions, transformation processes were initiated but can be particularly draining for those directly affected by discrimination and exclusion. This half-day, community-focused workshop is designed for all who want to discuss questions of belonging in their learning or working environments at ETH. This gathering creates a supportive space for exchange, mutual strengthening, and the collection of practical steps that can be taken alone, in smaller or bigger circles. Expect insights into existing community groups, discussion about what fosters belonging & where there is space for improvement, creation of best practise collection, journaling and self-reflection. It’s organized as part of the involved@ETH project and facilitated by Estefania Cuero.

✨Guided tour at Museum Rietberg
We will get a private tour of the current exhibition “Japan de luxe” at the Rietberg museum.
This exhibition showcases over 100 woodblock prints called Surimono. Our guide will tell us about their significance as gifts and the literary and cultural allusions hidden in the images. The guided tour is one hour long and afterward you will have time to explore the rest of the museum on your own.

Workshop: Urban Climate Circles – Art, Science & Climate Ideas
Join us for an evening workshop exploring how art and science can inspire new ways of thinking about climate action. Participants will move through a small exhibition of artworks and accessible climate science pieces designed to prompt reflection and discussion.
Through creative exercises, you will develop an idea for climate action, first individually, then collaboratively.
Midway through the evening, we will pause for an apéro to exchange ideas over food and drinks.
This workshop aims to build sustainability competencies while reminding us that creativity, curiosity, and collaboration are powerful tools for climate action.
Open to all. No prior experience required.
