Time to get controversial with the list. I know there are names on this list people haven't heard because I've told people these are the ones to look out for. Tag and comment your favorite DJ's in the scene so I know who to book next year for Steel City Bass.
These are my personal favorite DJ's I've heard in the scene, and the ones I think take you on a journey with there music. These are people I know will get a floor moving and hold a crowd better than anyone else in our scene. Over the past 2 years running Bass Buddies, between all our events, we have hosted over 70 DJ's on our stages. These aren't just from our stage because if I have off and any of them are playing I try to make it out to their sets. There is so much local talent in our small scene, its hard to explain how good these DJ's are to rise above everyone else, they just bring something special every time they get behind the decks. The main thing I tell people is these DJ's over multiple sets have made me smile while they play every time. They set themselves apart and allistic joy just from hearing them play. From song choice, to mixing style, to energy they bring to the stage, these are in my humble opinion PGH's best DJ's within the Bass Genre and if you ever see them on a show, you should show up every time.

Stacked lineups don’t even begin to explain how I feel about this year as a whole. Everything from unexpected heaters by people giving it a shot, to local talent feeling free to fully express themselves or try something different, has made it a wild ride. I’ve been getting more and more hyped month to month with the talent we’ve been bringing in.
The gender gap when it comes to the best DJs in our space is closing, and it’s time to recognize it. I didn’t anticipate that the top two slots were going to be women, but in our scene, the girls are stepping up and showing out. On top of that, I’ve seen so much improvement from these DJs who are putting in the time, energy, and passion. At any given show, someone can step up and shock you with how much better they’ve gotten. I’m extremely proud to have all of these DJs take the stage and throw down some of the best sets—not only on our stage, but in the city as a whole.

Leading up to some announcements for our 2-year anniversary, I wanted to highlight some of the best in Pittsburgh. Every few days, I’ll be putting out a new list of my personal favorites, starting with bass producers. There are a few who were in the running, but either I haven’t heard enough of their catalog, or they’re just starting out and don’t yet have the depth of others on this list.
These are the best EDM bass producers in the city, in my opinion. I've had the pleasure of listening to everything from original tracks and early releases to flips from many of these artists. While there are a lot of great producers in our scene, these are the ones I personally think are at the top of their game. They’re also the artists I keep coming back to and use to show others how talented our scene is.

Celebrating 2 years of Bass in the Burgh! We are honored to have had some of the best DJ's perform with us this past year and like last year we have to keep going bigger. This time around we have Manifest Sound System providing their MASSIVE subs to get the place shaking. But more importantly, we are bringing the DJ's to the floor. That's right, there is no better way to celebrate what you all have helped us create that to do a full on Boiler Room set up and open the stage for dancing, headbanging, and high knees.
On top of all that we have a secret set from one of the DJ's from our first year coming to take the stage again.

This party is gonna be crazy so our doors are opening early to get as many sets in as possible and fully celebrate the day and fill it with as much bass as possible so come early as our doors open at 6:30p and the party starts at 7p.

A little advice on how to fix your faders. this one wasn't that bad but definitely had some dust in it which is the biggest killer to faders. it came with a hard cover, I think it was dirty and they were trying to preserve it most equipment fails due to maintenance and not knowing how to repair/take care of it. Normally in this condition this unit runs for over 1k used 1500. I got it in its original box, with 5+3 protective top for less than 800 because knew how to repair it.
Also because I didn't make it clear. I can feel the misuse but it isn't even close to how bad I've felt before. I've been in club systems that are gross. This was in excellent condition, I can just tell these small details from working with equipment for that long and know it was a bass DJ using it not a house or open format guy.
