Releasing the lower arm bushing tension is a crucial and often overlooked aspect, especially if your car is lowered (advisable for cars without coilovers too). The rubber bushings tend to be overstressed when the car is lowered, thus we recommend preloading the bushings, followed by a wheel alignment, to protect the arm bushings from premature failure as well as to prolong their life.
