Late night and bright lights tuning autos at AUTOTUNED
It was great to see my friend Young Tea and his personal EK track build again at AUTOTUNED in the SGV. The hatch was looking good in the shop after the track day he just did to stretch her legs after quite a bit of downtime. Those of you who have been tuned in here on my IG and on my YouTube channel may recall my previous trips to the shop where I positively peer pressured him each time I was there to make time for his own car and get it back out again. That is, of course, easier said than done when you run a business because customers’ cars come first. But it was great to see that he finally made it happen and with new wheels and tires got back on track recently and had a bit of personal fun again.
Reverse staggered TE37’s in Pressed Double Black, wrapped in fresh FALKEN AZENIS RT660+ on the @turn14 x #BigMikeEdition DC5 street build… lasted less than 4 months SMH… thanks to the compliance bushings on the front suspension fully going out right after I had the fresh AZENIS mounted. The two front tires got eaten up so quickly, I hardly was able to make time to address the knocking sound in the front suspension when it made itself known before the tires got smoothed out LOL *sigh*
In the newest episode on my YouTube channel, I go over each and every new Honda/Acura suspension component I ended up addressing with the guys at @auto.tuned . If you’re gonna doing the front LCA’s you might as well address the whole front suspension, right?! Shout-out to @doolin.ryan of @acurapartsauthority for the OEM goodness you see in the vlog, and to Jonny and Young at AUTOTUNED.

Day 6 of me positively peer-pressuring my friend Young Tea of AUTOTUNED to bring out his EK hatch again LOL. Being a husband, father, business owner, developer, and wrencher keeps the man all kinds of levels of busy, but I still say to him to find the time (really it’s more like making the time) to carve out some personal time here and there to drive to an event with me in his track hatch needs to happen. 😁
