April is Autism Acceptance Month. We asked our community, "What does #AutismAcceptance mean to you?" Their experiences as autistic individuals are unique, but their answers had a lot in common. Every family arrives at ASCV with a different story. Some come searching for resources. Others come looking for connection. Most just want to find people who understand. For Jacob and Bekah Midkiff, that moment began a decade ago when Grayson was diagnosed with autism. What started with uncertainty has grown into Santa visits that became tradition, friendships that feel like home, programs that spark confidence and joy, and a community walking beside them. Their story, Where We Belong, captures what belonging looks and feels like — and why it matters so deeply. It’s what ASCV is all about. 💙✨

We know navigating autism resources can feel overwhelming, and the demand for support is growing — last year alone, we answered more than 1,500 requests for information and referrals. The ASCV 5K Resource Fair is designed to bring that support to you! Not to mention, it's free and open to everyone.
