I devoured it in just a few hours. If you’re looking for a mafia romance with intense chemistry and sharp humor, this is the perfect example. I loved how Alexei was soft only toward Kelly—never anyone else. The way he cared for him, bought him everything he needed, and started taking care of him was beautiful. His obsession was palpable, stealing Kelly’s things just to keep a piece of him close. And Kelly’s heartbreaking survival of an abusive relationship added depth and grit to the story. Alexei’s family? Chaotic, insane, psycho—and I adored every second of them. I can’t wait for their stories; I want to know them inside out. Violent Devotion by @authorlnorell ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 Omg , so, this book was so good! We have a vet tech and a mafia man! I loved Alexei! Like I just loved how he treated Kelly! He wanted to protect him and take care of him! Did he go about it in a strange way? Sure, I mean it’s not the smartest move to break into someone’s house and kinda take over but….. you kinda have to hand it to the guy, he was just trying to make sure Kelly was safe! Listen, you can’t fault an over protective man! Gold star in my book! And Kelly, I wanted to hug him! He went through so much! Like come on, that poor man just needed to be loved on! I get why he was so scared. I wanted to hug him when he finally came clean about all the shit his ex put him through! The relationship between these two men was so sweet and I just ate it up!!!! Just the sweetest little relationship! Oh and Kelly’s boss is a total d!ck! Like dude, not cool! And can we talk about clover the bunny, like come on how cute was that? And Alexei was adorable with him, he like took such good care of it! Just popping in here from my break to say thank you🥺🩷 FAQ⬇️ When is Daniil and Mikhail’s book coming? This year. I’m taking a break right now, but my beta readers are currently reading it. Their book is going to be way chunkier than Violent Devotion, very taboo, and delicious. Why the book so short? I didn’t want it that way. I’ve been open about what happened during editing, and a lot got cut that shouldn’t have been. I’m not happy about it, but It was either this or not publishing this book at all… Will the black paperback be available soon? Amazon has delayed my author proof copy for a whole month now. ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS SO FAR IS OUT TODAY VIOLENT DEVOTION @authorlnorell THIS BOOK HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD I NEED MORE I NEED IT INJECTED INTO MY VEINS, UGHHH THIS IS EVERYTHING AND MORE IM ADDICTED CALL ME OBSESSIVE OVER IT CAUSE AGHHH This book had me hooked, I couldn’t stop reading, once I started I was locked in trapped by the story and lost in how the story was written which was beautiful and phenomenal btw. It was so cohesive, I just couldn’t put the book down like i started I was basically done I ate it up so fast. Ugh Alexei my Russian baddie like damnnn he was so obsessive, so down bad like damnnn Mr king of yearning. Ughh the way he became obsessed with Kelly after the vet scene in the beginning like ahh.Kelly my baby ughh he was so adorable ….and his trauma that he went though my heart. I also think their chemistry, their banter. Their relationship as a whole was so good and I loved them so much. I need more of them. Oh literally I eat up the yearning mafia men like they are just so down bad like they are starving and good lord this man is starving LMAOOO I loved everything about this story, the way it was written, the way it flowed and family and morals were strong but also defining it and finding your own path your own rules and finding the person you would never let go and I love everything and more about this book and I’m literally staring at the wall I can’t get enough of them 😭😭 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK #mmbooks #mmbookrecs
