Join us Tonight April 20th at 5pm at Hanesbrands Theatre for the premiere screening of the documentary The Dwellers. The feature film follows 8 housing-challenged members from The Dwelling faith congregation in Winston-Salem, NC as they participate in a unique process with local non-profit, Authoring Action. Utilizing art, music, and creative writing, the Authoring Action program challenges and supports participants in sharing their stories - providing a powerful glimpse into their lives as they prep for a special public engagement with the greater W-S community. Q & A with program participants immediately following screening.

My time with Just Us has been wonderful, I appreciate the value it has added to my summer experience. Being able to get back into writing and being afforded the opportunity to work in a professional film environment was very beneficial to creating and bringing my story to life. I’ve cultivated some amazing relationships and I genuinely appreciate this opportunity to work with all of these amazing and creative individuals.
