the greatest achievement of my life so far, 8 years later and anxiety no longer controls my day to day… The journey has been long, scary, amazing, and difficult at times. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world because it brought me here: getting to help others who are experiencing anxiety, feeling how I’ve felt through all phases of my journey, do the same. Feeling better together. Not having to go through it alone🤍

a bit more about me beneath the surface 💙 The journey that brought me here, also known as exactly where I am meant to be hehe. but being so for real, I am not perfect, nor will I ever be. I still have hard days, I still experience stress. But the difference now is who I am on the inside, how I show up. How I nurture, love, and care for myself. My awareness, my perspective, and the relationship with my body that has shifted over this time has made all the difference. From being so anxious I could barely eat, feeling so afraid of being alone with myself, and always attempting to distract from what I was feeling… To now loving my alone time (maybe a little too much lol), being compassionate towards my body when it communicates with me, and always being able to come back to the authentic power that lives within me (sometimes longer than others, but always coming back stronger). And embodying the ripple effect of all of this has helped me with having the capacity to actually go for my dreams now (like launching this business officially next week!!!) I hope to support you with doing so too, reminding you just how powerful and worth it you are✨

normalizing sharing these experiences, because that’s how we know we are never alone!!! We don’t have to struggle, we don’t have to just breathe through it, and we don’t have to be perfect. That is what anxiety has taught me. It’s simply just a feeling that wants to be felt. And panic attacks are a way of that feeling communicating with us. always here to be open and honest with you guys 🤍 I spent time yesterday just sitting with my decision to leave, and honestly think it was the best thing for me. I’ve tried to think of reasons why and even made excuses in my head, but being so for real, the fear won. This experience showed me my body’s limits, and brought my awareness to what is wanting my attention moving forward. More laps are needed in the kiddy pool before jumping off the high dive, which is okay. I hope this shows you that just because you don’t complete something doesn’t mean you failed. Just me showing up for this, for one night, when I felt so resistant to it is enough for me for now. I came home, used my peace practice, went to a park, journaled, read, and just laid down with the sun on my face, and am feeling much better✨

I know it can be scary, I know asking for help can feel so far away. But I also know that choosing to do nothing, to just keep trying to breathe through it, and to distract yourself is only going to make it worse. Maybe you’ve tried therapy or counselling, the self-help books, and even a meditation. But nothing has stuck. I see you because I have been you. I tried everything I could and didn’t find lasting change and support, till I started to actually address what was going on inside of my body. And now I actually feel good in my body, I enjoy my life again, and I know what to do when anxiety comes up. And I know this can be you too. Follow along if you’re ready 💛

changing the question from “how can I make this go away?” To “how can I complete this cycle?” It might seem weird or awkward, but I’m telling you, the body knows what to do when you finally let yourself listen to it! and this can be done in really simple ways, through sound, movement, imagery, etc. Basically just ways of expressing the anxious feelings within. My peace practice takes you through all of them! So you can see what fits best for you. Comment PEACE to get it 🫶🏻

it’s listening to your body all the way babyssss!!! and a great way to start doing this, for the times when your feelings are taking over, is to invite in a little curiosity ✨ asking your body where this feeling is located, what colour is it? what shape? does it have a texture? This is literally showing your body that what you are feeling isn’t something to fear. That you can handle it. The more you do that, the easier it feels to move with your feelings, no longer fighting against them. Especially anxious feelings! follow along to support yourself with anxiety, and feel powerful while doing so 💛💛💛

comment PEACE to receive my free practice to start taking your power back over anxiety🫶🏻 I thought something was wrong with me for so long… When I was 17 anxiety would take over my body and mind for days at a time. And it would make me so frustrated. I felt like I had no control over how I felt. And all I would do was try to distract myself, because it all felt so scary at the time. I’ve always been a big feeler, but it felt so intense. I knew I had to do something to start feeling like myself again in my life. Flash forward 8 years later, of trying so many different things. And finally getting here, to the thing that has really changed my life. Which has been learning how to move through feelings, especially anxious ones (like tightness, heaviness, feeling out of control). This has taught me that having an anxious moment isn’t actually a bad thing, that it’s just been feelings that want to be felt and moved through all along.
