storytime 💚 mexico, march 2025 📍las grutas de las tolantongo was on my bucket list for my trip and it was coming to an end. my friend didn’t want to come since we had another day trip the day after, and we were at a 4-hour drive from there. i hesitated going; i was afraid i wouldn’t have as much fun, that i would look weird, that i wouldn’t have anyone to talk to, blah blah blah. but f*ck not doing things because you don’t want to be alone. sometimes you end up being your best company. actually, the result was that i saw breathtaking views AND made new friends with whom i spent the day. satisfaction 😇🙂‍↕️ about tolantongo: back in the 70s, 112 families from a local community built trails, a road, and tourist spots all by themselves, with no government help at all. turned the place into this cool collectively run hot springs resort mixing wild nature and chillllll thermal vibes. solo day trip • solo travel • stepping out of comfort zone • solo female travel • natural pools • mexican waterfalls #tolantongo #mexicotravel #solotravel #blackwomentravel #bucketlist
