Personne ne pouvait être mieux placé que mon vieux copain EKO LSA pour illustrer cette collaboration avec Aurélien.
Issu du graffiti à La Réunion, où il compte parmi les pionniers du mouvement, EKO LSA développe un langage visuel reconnaissable :
une écriture devenue visage.
Ses personnages, directement inspirés de la rue, sont des visages-masques.
Des formes simples et fortes, pensées pour être vues, comprises, et réinterprétées par chacun.
Un symbole revient dans son travail : l’Eurobase, un œil inspiré de l’arobase (@).
Une signature visuelle qui interroge notre rapport au regard et à la visibilité.
Entre mur et atelier, EKO LSA construit une œuvre cohérente, où chaque dessin prolonge l’écriture et affirme une présence.
Avec cette collaboration, son univers quitte le mur pour investir un nouvel objet, sans rien perdre de son impact.

No one was better suited than my longtime friend EKO LSA to bring this collaboration with Aurélien to life.
Rooted in graffiti in La Réunion — where he is considered one of the pioneers of the movement — EKO LSA has developed a distinctive visual language:

His characters, directly inspired by the street, take the form of mask-like faces.
Simple, striking shapes designed to be seen, understood, and reinterpreted by anyone.
A recurring symbol runs through his work: the Eurobase — an eye inspired by the @ sign.
A visual signature that questions our relationship to visibility and the act of being seen.
Moving between walls and studio practice, EKO LSA builds a coherent body of work where each drawing extends writing and asserts a presence.
With this collaboration, his universe leaves the wall to inhabit a new object — without losing any of its impact.

This 1979 single cask is a third reading of Hélène Faget’s cellar.
Here, wood steps back.
From the moment it left the still, cask #262 was placed into a 420L refill cask.
It remained there for 47 years.
The result?
A pale color.
Wood in the background.
Fruit at the forefront.
Ugni blanc distilled at high proof.
Finesse. Tension.
This 1979 captures the aromatic signature of the 1976’s finish, that lifted acidity with notes of passion fruit and yellow grapefruit, and stretches it across the entire tasting.
From nose to finish. Through the palate.
An armagnac for those who seek delicacy and elegance.
