I have gotten the most amazing opportunity to help choreograph the dopest queer protest thanks to not only @sonya._.doyle for introducing me but for @austinroundup and @thrivingatx (our amazing director this year) for giving me a chance to bring two numbers to life on stage! Queer history is so so important and needs to continue to be told especially now more than ever. Please do your research, get active support one another and if you can’t get out physically, there are many other ways to protest from inside your home. This group of people has done so much for me more than i genuinely think they will ever know, but most of all I finally feel like I’ve found myself and found a group of people who are so excited about life and uplifting eachother. And now I’m focused on starting my sobriety journey and letting alcohol go. I plan to continue to dance and exist with out worry and this opportunity has opened so many doors like starting heels classes with @makingmoveswithash and pole classes with @thefirsttheydy I’m excited about life again… and will not let anything take that away from me. Now i must gonna go make stage numbers for future shows 😈🙏🏽 Thank you @doughertyartscenter for having us💞
