I have been tattooing @michael_power for years now. It was an honor to be asked to create this back piece for him! He sat like a frickin’ rock, for real! 3 sessions to complete this bad boy and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Thank you for the trust and commitment Mike!
Knuckles are honestly one of the trickiest spots to tattoo. At least for me. Every shop I’ve worked in has had at least one artist who avoids them completely or just won’t do them at all.
It’s a totally different kind of skin and tattooing them “correctly” feels almost backwards compared to something like a forearm.
That being said I actually really enjoy tattooing knuckles. They just take time. Especially when each one has its own design. Placement matters a lot and going one by one to get it right is a slow process.
All that aside I had a great time doing these for Kaan. Thank you for trusting me with them.
