This moment you see has been in the making for many, many years.
A lifetime, really.
This week just gone, our founder @shanna_whan visited the exec team at @austagco (aka Australian Agricultural Company) with her heart on her sleeve as always - and combined that with all the practical things she and our little crew have learned this past 11 years about how, whether we personally drink or don’t, simply making it #OK2SAYNO and catering for all our mates at bush events saves precious lives, and also prevents so much harm, too.
We shared with CEO David Harris and his wonderful team why it’s one of the most important pieces of work of our charity, to be part of creating better places, spaces, and stations - especially for young adults heading for the adventure of their lifetimes.
To say this is a “pinch us” moment would be an understatement.
To Dave, Aaron Wakeley, Sarah Hackett and Paige Mackay - and the entire exec team - thank you for saying yes.

AACo sees sustainable beef production as part of the solution to climate change, and it was a privilege to discuss that at a United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) summit last week.
AACo Head of Environment and Sustainability, Naomi Wilson, spoke in the plenary session and several official side-events about our holistic approach to sustainability, that strives to balances human needs, the needs of our cattle and the needs of the ecosystems in our care.
We also co-hosted a formal reception at the Ambassador's residence, where Executive General Manager, Corporate Services, Jacqui Huntington, told more than 120 senior delegates from around the world how AACo can demonstrate what is possible when you take steps to be in harmony with and shape nature.
We continue to grow our understanding of nature and our impact on it, but our approach has already produced many positive outcomes for the landscapes that we manage and the 456,000 cattle we raise across 6.5 million hectares of land.

There's nothing like spending a few days on a station. It's magic and often described by those who visit as life changing.
We've been able to share that experience with world-class chefs from Singapore, the Middle East, Australia, the US and the UK over the last couple of months.
They are just as passionate about food as we are about producing high quality Wagyu.
There is plenty of hard work and dedication that goes into caring for the land and raising cattle – first hand experience they’ll now be able to share with their customers at home.

It's not every day - or any normal day - that you get to listen to and learn from three world-class chefs.
That was the experience at a special event in Sydney, where we were joined by @meilin21 from the US, @chefandrewclarke from the UK, and Australia's @lennoxhastie .
Lennox had just come back from visiting AACo's stations and Mei and Andrew were just about to head away for the same adventure.
All three are passionate about food and our brand @westholme . They were excited to see first-hand the care, effort and passion from our own teams, that go into producing nature-led Wagyu.
