For the greatest place on earth,
Words can’t describe what this place has done for me. I am a better player, a better teammate, and most importantly a better man. We are not bound by blood, but by the brotherhood we created for life. The 4 years spent here provided me with a home away from home, countless brothers, and amazing connections. What people don’t understand is that you don’t choose Limestone, it chooses you. It tests your limits, it pushes you to your breaking point, it requires you give every bit of your blood, sweat, and tears all for the single reason to show you that nobody has it better than us.
To my coaches and teammates, thank you. You have all taught me lessons in life that I will hold onto forever. Without each and every one of these people I wouldn’t be the player and man I have become. Through the trials and tribulations of life, there was never a doubt I had every single guy behind me. Never have I been so honoured to play with and be given the opportunity to lead such an incredible group of men. It is truly the people you meet that makes this tiny place the best place on earth. No matter what, the grass will always be greener in Gaffney.
They may be shutting our school down, and they may be “ending” the program, but at the end of the day it is all bigger than that, it was always bigger than that. As long as I and others are Limestone Saints, we will always be together, and that is something nobody can ever take from us.
