Collecta is a textile brand created by Aurelie, where she recycles thrifted textiles and arranges them into Mediterranean inspired shapes.
I was thrilled to be able to bring her collections to my hometown desert, (which used to be the bottom of the ocean a long long time ago, but preserved it’s untouched look up until now). The Mediterranean colors and shapes integrated so perfectly; it touched me deeply. To me, it shows how we could live such different lives, be surrounded by such different circumstances… yet find a perfect magnificent synchronicity 🙏🏼
